Project Westdrive: large scale VR Foundation for immersive Experiments on Human Computer Interactions
My research interests is XR (Cross-Reality) as well as the human-machine-interactions. How do we as humans feel and behave around social robots. For me, this is one of the key questions of our future.

Would you trust a robot to drive your car?
Project Westdrive is a joint PHD project with Farbod N. Nezami in a large scaled, highly realistic VR Simulation of a City, called Westdrive. It uses AI controlled, self- driving cars in an eye-tracking experiment, to unveil questions about human trust in ADVs. Our goal is to gain insights in human trust building behavior and ultimately lower reservations regarding this technology.
